NC045 GOALS FOR 2025-2026
Cadet Goals
-Cadets will participate and lead five major corps events such as Movie Night, Holiday Ball, Commander Calls, Award Ceremonies, End of Year Cadet Celebrations, etc. by June 2026. Ensuring and growing Esprit-de-Corps within the unit.
-Cadets participate in at least 2 or 3 corps events, participate on an LDR Team...Kitty Hawk, APT, Sabre Team, Color Guard, Cyberpatriot, or JLAB. Completed teams become operational and competitive by Dec 2025.
School Goals
-The Awareness Presentation Team (APT) will coordinate with three feeder schools for recruiting efforts through Red Ribbon week presentations and class leadership drill demonstrations. Events will increase enrollment 10% by spring 2026 for the 25-26 school year.
-Cadets will participate and or assist in at least four (4) co-curricular school events, for example, color guard, open house, etc. Public affairs will publish a quarterly newsletter to showcase accomplishments and involvement through school activities and programs. Ensure 95 percent cadet retention in the program.
-APT cadets will present topics such as bullying/cyberbullying, drug abuse, sexual harassment, and school safety, through classroom visits by June 2026. Increasing awareness and personal accountability across the high school and select feeder middle schools.
Community Goals
-NC-045 corps cadets will serve and document a minimum of 19 hours per cadet through school and local community activities by April 2026.
-Each Cadet will participate in at least three environmental projects such as highway/campus beautification, canned food drives, or community work groups, by the end of the 2025-26 school year. These activities will help improve the local environment and sustainability of the community.
