I am a faculty in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at CMR Institute of Technology, Bengaluru. I earned my B. Tech and M.Tech from JNTUH and JNTUA, respectively, and I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. at VIT University, Chennai. My research focuses on lightweight security, wireless sensor networks (WSNs), and optimization techniques for enhancing performance and security in resource-constrained environments. With over 17 years of teaching experience and six months of research exposure at the National Atmospheric Research Laboratory, I have developed a strong foundation in both academic and applied research. During my time at NARL, I contributed to the design and development of a phase-switched interferometer, which was instrumental in calibrating the beam-pointing accuracy of antenna arrays. I have authored 16 Scopus-indexed publications, including seven journal articles—two in SCIE Q1 journals (impact factor 5.0), two in Q2, two in Q3, and one in Q4—as well as nine papers in reputable IEEE and Springer conferences. I hold two patents and have authored the textbook Cryptography, Network Security & Cyber Law. As an active contributor to the academic community, I have reviewed numerous IEEE conference papers and served as a guest reviewer for Inderscience, Wiley, IGI Global Scientific Publishing, and the EAI Endorsed Transactions on Internet of Things. I hold professional memberships with IEEE, the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), and the International Association of Engineers (IAENG). I have coordinated two national-level faculty development programs and supervised five postgraduate and thirty undergraduate student projects. I served as a resource person for two online faculty skill development programmes on Encryption techniques. I also attained four NPTEL certifications and completed pedagogy training courses with NITTTR and Wipro Mission 10X.In addition, I completed Universal Human Values-1 and Universal Human Values-2, which are AICTE initiatives. I also have experience establishing the Electronic Devices and Circuits (EDC) Lab at a previous institution. Throughout my career, I have taken on various leadership roles—serving as NSS Coordinator, Technical Clubs Coordinator and Industrial Visits In-Charge. I also served as a Board of Studies (BOS) Member for the Department of Electronics and Control Engineering at Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College, Tirupati, during 2012–2014. Beyond research and teaching, I have served as a judge for Creative Canvas at VIRINCHI-2020 (Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam), a judge for paper presentations at Mohan Mantra 2018 (Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College), and a convenor for two national-level faculty development programmes. In 2008, I secured the 23rd rank in PGECET and the 93rd rank in the Anna University postgraduate entrance exam. During my M. Tech studies, I earned an ‘A’ grade for my thesis work and received a silver medal at the national symposium organised by AITE & SV University, Tirupati. In 2024, my paper was honored with the Best Paper Award at the International Conference on Embracing the Digital Horizon. Most recently, I completed the NPTEL certification in Cryptography & Network Security with a score of 90%, earning an ELITE+GOLD distinction and ranking among the top 2% of participants.
