Event Description:

The main objective of the workshop was to help the students get acquainted with the untapped functions and features of the MATLAB software. The importance of MATLAB and the ease with which it can be operated was also a part of the discussion.

The speaker for the workshop was Professor Rahul Nyamangoudar. He began with a brief introduction on the basic commands used in MATLAB, followed by how to use functions in the software. He taught the students to create their own functions.

The latter half of the workshop was devoted to image processing. This was the most intriguing part as students got the opportunity to play with the various features of image processing. The event culminated in a competition where the students had to apply the knowledge gained from the session.
