What is the Entrepreneurship Development Cell?
The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) at CMR Institute of Technology is a dynamic platform dedicated to cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset among students of the Department of Management Studies.

The main aim of this cell is to develop spirit and awareness of entrepreneurship among students, to nurture creative and innovative thinking, and to empower students to become job creators rather than job seekers.

Students gain corporate exposure, bridge the gap between industry and academia, and participate in entrepreneurship awareness camps. EDC is designed to practice and promote entrepreneurship in campus communities — producing leaders who positively impact economic growth and nurture the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the nation.

We motivate, nurture and facilitate the growth of budding entrepreneurs, alongside a vision to evangelise innovation across Karnataka and beyond.
