I have a total experience of 36 years, which includes serving in different educational institutions for six years.
I worked in software product companies for three decades, continuously learning and building innovative products - using waterfall, evolutionary, and agile methodologies.
Worked in different environments and with various cultures. I was in the United States of America (USA) for a decade. During the first stint, I architected the Network Mediation (NM) and Call Collection (CC) software platform for the Telecommunications giant MCI-WorldCom (now Verizon) and trained British colleagues in London. During my second stint, I was a Java consultant. I also worked in Italy, England, and Australia. The Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF), a Middle Eastern (ME) government organization, handpicked me as a Senior Application Specialist to transform their legacy Loan Management System (LMS) to the .NET stack.
Progressed from an entry-level software engineer to a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) during my career. Played several key roles: business analyst, coder, code reviewer, designer, enterprise architect, project/program/technical/general manager, product owner, and finally a CTO, predominantly in Research and Development (R&D) organizations - Hewlett Packard (HP), Sun Microsystems (now Oracle), Lucent (which became Alcatel-Lucent and now, Nokia), and Dealer Socket (Solera now) - to name a few.
I built products (even from scratch) and mentored technical leads and managers. Had filed a patent while at HP. Architected, designed, and implemented in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) as well as the structured paradigm using primarily: Java, C++, C, and C#.
