Completed  Projects:

1."AgriCare AI: Smart Crop Health Diagnosis and Reporting Portal" -KCSCT Sponsored Project

The AgriCare AI project offers a practical solution to a critical problem in agriculture—early detection and management of crop diseases. The primary outcome is an AI-powered mobile platform that can accurately identify crop diseases using image inputs and data. This enables timely intervention, significantly reducing crop losses and improving overall yield.

The AgriCare AI project involves the development of a functional working model in the form of a cross-platform mobile application integrated with an AI-based crop disease detection system. The model has been implemented using real datasets and machine learning algorithms, allowing users to upload crop images and receive instant diagnostic feedback.

2. "An Explainable AI based model for Feature Identification from Drone Orthophotos "

The SVAMITVA (Survey of Villages and Mapping with Improvised Technology in Village Areas) Scheme is a Government of India initiative aimed at providing clear property ownership records to rural households using modern geospatial technologies. At the core of this scheme are orthophotos, a high-resolution drone images that are geometrically corrected to represent the Earth’s surface with true scale and accuracy, just like a map. The proposed project uses data from this scheme and introduces an AI-based solution to automate the extraction of key geospatial features such as building footprints, road networks, and water bodies from high-resolution orthophotos generated by drone surveys. The project uses computer vision, machine learning, and explainable AI (XAI) to design a system capable of automatically analysing drone imagery. Their model could identify key land features such as buildings, roads, vegetation, and water bodies with remarkable precision.
