Technical Trends event was conducted for pre final year students as part of the Centre of Excellence Assistive Technologies Technical Trends event. The Session Started with introduction to Assistive Technologies and its trends.
The seminar explored how emerging technologies and empathetic design are transforming the field of assistive technology. Participants gained insights into the latest trends in AI, IoT, wearable systems, and inclusive product design that enhance accessibility and independence for people with disabilities. Through real-world examples and case studies, the session emphasized the importance of understanding user experiences, co-designing with empathy, and developing sustainable, socially impactful solutions.
The event inspired students to innovate with purpose—bridging technology and compassion to build a more inclusive world.
