The CMRIT Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) Research Center was established in 2012 with the goal of promoting high-quality research, innovation, and advanced learning in the field of computer science and its multidisciplinary areas that solve both societal and industrial concerns.

The Research Centre focuses towards:

• Developing a robust research culture among teachers, research scientists, and students in new areas of computer science.

• Conducting cutting-edge research in a variety of fields, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, cyber security, cloud computing, edge computing, networking, IoT, blockchain, and other related technologies.

• Supporting financed research projects, consultancy work, and industrial relationships.

• Promoting the publication of research findings in reputable journals, conferences, patents, and technological transfers.
