PROF. KOTAGIRI PADMA SAI VASANTHA
Ms.Kotagiri Padma Sai Vasantha holds a Bachelor’s degree in law B.A.LL.B from V.M.Salgaocar College of Law, Goa, and Masters degree with a specialization in Business Law from ILS Law College, Pune. Ms.Vasantha Kotagiri was the Winner of the Herbert Smith Freehills Community Engagement Award 2019, conducted by Herbert Smith Freehills Law Firm, England. She was selected for the Child Rights Clinical Exchange Program conducted by the University of New South Wales-Sydney, Australia in the year 2019.

An unwavering animal lover at heart, I am on a mission to translate my passion into action through the animal welfare club. With a lifelong affinity for all animals, I am dedicated to creating a world where animals are treated with the care and respect they deserve. My goal as a member of this club is to foster a community of like-minded individuals who share a profound love for animals and are committed to making their lives better. Through impactful campaigns, educational initiatives, and collaborative efforts, we shall be working together to be the voice for those who can't speak for themselves.

The love for animals, especially strays, has only grown in me over the years and now as one of the club leaders of Fostray, I have the opportunity to channelize my interests in working people with similar interests. Over the years, I have adopted many cats, kittens and a few dogs. I am also a person who loves to participate in social activities, workshops, training programs, projects etc. related to helping animals.

Animal welfare is important because there are so many animals around the world suffering from being used for entertainment, food, medicine, fashion, scientific advancement, and as exotic pets. My contribution towards the cause will be through using my skills to capture the precious moments with lovely strays.

My superpower to befriend any animal along with being a cat mom and the ability to scroll through social media for hours at a stretch has made me look forward to managing the social media handles for the club. While they might pass off as adorable furballs, many fail to consider their well being which I am to look after as a part of the club.
