After School Clubs - REGISTER NOW!
General Information
After school clubs are open to currently enrolled CMES students only. They meet one hour a week (2:40-3:40) on a Monday or a Thursday. All questions and concerns about a club should be directed to the club representative. The PTO is only the facilitator for getting the clubs into the school. Registration, scheduling, payment, cancellations, etc. are all between you and the club.
Clubs are open to currently enrolled CMES students.
Clubs do not meet if there is no school or an early dismissal, but check with the club specifically.
Parents are not responsible for getting their child from class to the clubs. The school and/or club handles that.
The clubs are: Abrakadoodle, Lyte Run, LEGO Robotics, and Chess Academy
Pickup Procedures -- PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
After School Care: Once the club ends, SACC kids will be returned to SACC for normal pickup procedures.
Walkers and Bus Riders: You will need to pick up your child from school; children cannot leave by themselves.
Parents are responsible for informing the school that their walker or bus-rider will be picked up on club days.
It is also important that you tell the club who will be picking up your child. There will not be anybody in the main office when the clubs let out. There will be a teacher on site helping with dismissal, but the clubs need to know who is authorized to pick up the kids.
Sample email, with relevant information: Dear [TEACHER NAME]. [CHILD NAME] will be going to [CLUB NAME] every [DAY OF THE WEEK] from [START DATE] to [END DATE]. On those days, my child will not be [RIDING THE BUS / WALKING HOME]. Instead, they will be picked up by [NAME OF PERSON].
