Mid-Continent Public Library's Juvenile Series & Sequels List

If you want to know if your favorite author has written more books, you can search by author, or if you want to know the order of a new series you're reading, you can search by the series title. You can also search by series subject and book title BUT remember, these sites are simply tools to help you; we may (or may not) have a particular title in our collection here at Richview.

Book Wizard

Sponsored by Scholastic, you can search for books by title, by similar books that you have enjoyed reading in the past, as well as reading level of several different types of measurement systems (Lexile, DRA, etc.)

Book Spot

Having trouble finding something to read that you are interested in? This website will suggest titles for you--all you have to do is start with one of the many links such as Winners, Book Lists, Genre Spotlight, or Author Spotlight.

Book Verdict

Here you will find expert reviews of print and media. You may search by individual title or you may look at the lists that are compiled for you by expert reviewers such as School Library Journal, Horn Book, etc.

Good Reads

Here you can search for reviews and read opinions about books from other readers.

Story Snoops

With the Find-a-Book search tool, you can look up books, you can check out genre book lists, and read interviews with popular authors.

American Library Association's Book & Media Awards

There are links at this site to inform you about which books and authors have won awards such as Newbery, Michael L. Printz, Coretta Scott King, Pura Belpre, etc. Not only is the current winner profiled, all the winners in the past are, too, from the first time the award was presented through the current time.
