Meeting Time:  First Monday of each month before school at 7:30 am.

Description: Student Council is a unique group of students who are voted in by their homeroom peers in grades 4th and 5th at the beginning of each school year. Candidates must receive permission from their parents to run, complete a questionnaire given to them by the student council representative and be prepared on voting day to share their answers from the questionnaire in front of their homeroom peers. Those who are voted in are given a calendar of meetings which convenes once a month. An elementary student council presents a unique opportunity for young students to learn organization, leadership and teamwork skills and prepares them for later student government positions. This includes supporting our annual Family Picnic Day, food drive, toy drive and other community activities decided on during our monthly meetings.
