Gates Scholarship
This is a last dollar scholarship so amounts will vary. Applicants must be from at least one of the following ethnicities: African-American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian & Pacific Islander American, and/or Hispanic American. Must be Pell-Eligible, and a US citizen, national, or permanent resident. Applicants must have a 3.3 GPA and be Pell eligible.

Courage to Grow Scholarship
$500 open to US citizens who are juniors and seniors with a minimum 2.5 GPA.

Coca Cola Scholars
150 awards for $20,000 each. Based on academic achievement (must have a 3.0), extracurricular activities, and community service.

Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award
Up to $10,000 for classical instrumentalists, vocalists, and composers between the ages of 8 and 18 with a 3.0 GPA who have not graduated high school. Applicants must be interested in performing on NPR’s “From the Top” and have exceptional musical achievement, unmet financial need, academic achievement, and strength of character.

NSHSS Activism and Advocacy
Five $1,000 awards for students who have a passion for bringing about social, political, and/or civil change in their community.
