CHECK OUT:
1st through 5th-grade students may check out 2 books at a time, Kindergarten students check out 1 at a time.
Parents are welcome to check out books.
2-week checkout period. Overdue notices are emailed to the homeroom teacher weekly. After four weeks, a notification is sent home and a charge is assigned. The charge depends on the age of the book and how many checkouts it has had.
LOST OR DAMAGED MATERIALS:
Please don't attempt to repair a book.
Please don't replace a lost book yourself.
We rarely charge fines for damaged books as we can fix most problems and understand accidents happen, however, lost books or books that have too much damage are subject to fines.
CARING FOR MATERIALS:
I say BOOK...you say BAG!
Students have been taught to keep books safe and clean and to keep their books in their bookbag at all times....except when reading, of course!
