Mrs. Carter

My name is Mrs. Carter and I teach 6th grade math on the Roadrunners team! I earned my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education in 2012, a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2017, and I graduated with my second Master's Degree in Educational Leadership in August 2025. 

Whether you already love math, or you’re still warming up to it, our classroom will be a place where math is fun and engaging. We will make connections, explore real-world problems, and tackle challenges that will stretch your thinking in new ways. Get ready to work together, ask lots of questions, and build your math skills while growing your confidence! 

When I’m not teaching math, or preparing for exciting learning experiences, I enjoy exercising and being outdoors. One of my favorite activities is going on bike rides with my family. 

I love Starbucks, Alani Nu drinks, sour candies, and flare pens! 

 I look forward to getting to know each of you & cannot wait to embark on an amazing school year together!
