On this page, you will find descriptions and dates for our concerts and events throughout the year. Some of the date are still tentative, and can change depending on sports and other district activities. There can also be activities added to this list as well. As I get information on school and district level events, I will update the dates.
Next to each event, you will also find the required uniform for that event.

On this date, the gentlemen of the choir will be invited to join others from around the county to have a day of choir all about the "guys".
7th and 8th Grade Students Only
Date: November 7th (Tentative)
Time: During School Day
Each year, our school presents a Veteran's Day Program in the gym. There are musical performances, speeches, and presentations given during this program. The choir students will be singing during this event. Parents wishing to attend need to RSVP with Mrs. Asman.
Students will need to wear a red, white, or blue shirt and dress code appropriate pants this day. Normal black concert attire is NOT required!

CMCSS holds a county-wide honor choir event each year. Students will audition and several will be selected to attend this event. These students will get to travel to one of the high schools in town to participate in a day filled with joyful song!
Students will be provided a shirt for this performance.
Date: December 12th (Tentative)
Time: 6:00pm
Our choir will present a holiday concert in the theater each year. This is one of the required concerts that will be a grade. All choir students must attend this concert. (An alternate writing assignment will be provided for students after a missed concert to make up the missing test grade.)
Students will need to wear their Concert Black attire for this event. That incudes their uniform shirt and black pants. Students will be allowed to wear holiday accessories. These accessories can not be distracting to the overall performance that evening.

Time: 6:00pm
Each year, we will be presenting a spring choral concert. This concert is a wonderful time to share what we have learned throughout the year. This is one of the required concerts that will be a grade. All students must attend this concert. (An alternate writing assignment will be provided for students after a missed concert to make up the missing test grade.)
Students will need to wear their required Black attire for this event. That incudes their uniform shirt and black pants.
