Book Check Out & Book Fine Policies
You can check out 5 books at a time.
The checkout period for books is three weeks.
Overdue Fines are 10 cents per day per item. If your book is still out after your fine adds up to $5 for the book, your book will be marked as lost and you will be charged for the cost of the book plus the $5 overdue fine. If you return the book, you will only owe the $5. If you do not return the book, you will be put on the debt list for the cost of the book. This fine must be paid before you can walk at graduation.
If you return a book that is damaged, you will be put on the debt list and be charged for the cost of the book. If you see that a book is damaged before you check it out, notify the library staff so we know the book was damaged prior to checkout.
You may renew your books one time (unless that book is on hold for another student and that book isn't overdue).
Printing Policies
Students may print at any of our 5 printing stations. These printers only print in black and white. We do not print in color or make copies for students.
Library Visiting Policies
Students who come to the library during the school day must have a pass signed by their teacher or an administrator.
The only time a student does not need a pass from their teacher to be in the library is before school, in between classes, or after school.
Even during lunch you must have a note from your teacher to be in the library.
