We spent a long day at Brentwood Academy on 11/2/19 competing in our first VEX Robotics tournament of this season. We were up against a lot of the best teams from central Tennessee and we did fairly well. After qualification rounds, three of our teams were in the top half of the tournament with five of our six teams able to make it to the elimination bracket.

Special Recognition goes out to team 5999Z who competed at their first ever VEX robotics tournament, shocked many teams, and qualified for the state tournament.

Team members: Shelby Burnett-Gunderson, Brianna Britford, Pheoebe Hewett, Morgan Kirkland, Izabellah Reifel, and Faith Sherer
