Students enjoyed adopting pets to read to daily at home. First, students visited the library and read the book "What Pet Should I Get" written by Dr Seuss. Then students had to complete adoption papers, choose a pet, and then create a house and collar for their new pet. The students then took their pet to the vet to give them shots and a check-up. Finally the students researched information about their animal to know how to take care of it. It was a great night of reading and finding pets a new home.
