Important Reminders

• Students must log in to AR from their ClassLink.  

• AR tests must be taken at school. 

What is AR?

AR is a website where students take a quiz after reading a book. The quizzes are usually 3 – 20 questions.  Students are scored based on the number of questions answered correctly. Those points accumulate as he/she takes quizzes throughout the year. There are many incentives and rewards to encourage students to earn points.   Point goals are set each 9 weeks based on students' individual reading levels. 

How do students test?

After reading a book:

• Log into ClassLink

• Find the Renaissance Button

• Click the AR icon

• Type in the title, author, or Quiz number

• Answer the questions (students should not be using the book to find the answers)

How do I know if a book is in AR or how may points it is?

Many of our books have a sticker with AR information inside the cover.

 Students can log into AR  and search the book if they do not or search using AR Book Finder.

Week Rewards and Incentives

9 Week Reward Parties

Students will receive an invitation to an AR Reward Party for N1, N2, and N3 by reaching their personal goal for each 9 weeks and maintaining an 80% average. 

N1- Extra Recess Party with Snow cones, Bubbles, and Chalk

N2- Cookie Decorating and Hot Chocolate

N3- Glow Dance Party

Ultimate End of Year Party during N4- k-2 Students with 125 points and 3-5 students with 250 Points  with an average of 80% or higher will receive an invitation to a field trip to SkyZone!
