The $56 includes your cap, gown, tassel and diploma cover.
Mandatory graduation practice will be held on Tuesday, May 19 from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM at APSU Dunn Center. It will be 3 hours long and only students are to attend. No guests are allowed at practice. You will receive your tickets (10 for each graduate) at practice.
The AHS Graduation Ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday, May 20 at 12 noon. Graduates should arrive at 11 am.
DRESS CODE:
Graduation is a formal event and we are looking forward to a great ceremony. The following attire is to be worn for graduation:
Solid white dress shirt, dark colored tie, solid black dress slacks, solid black dress shoes.
• Solid black dress, skirt or slacks, solid black appropriate dress shoes
• Shoes - SOLID black dress shoes only.
Approved Regalia Only - Only stoles, cords, and medallions awarded by CMCSS or the State of Tennessee are permitted.
• Graduation caps are worn flat on the top of your head, not on the back of your head. Nothing is to be written on your graduation cap or gown. When you pick up your gown, hang it up to remove the wrinkles.
• If any of these items are an issue, please talk with your advisor no later than April 15th
• As you enter the Dunn Center, your attire will be checked by faculty members. If you are not dressed according to the dress code, you will not be permitted to walk.
Please note- If a debt is owed to CMCSS students will not receive their diploma until it is paid.
