It began with one student.
It began with one student.
In the 2018-2019, then 8th grade student Ian Lee's passion project was to encourage and enhance the athletic presence at Colegio Maya. From there, in collaboration with the Honor Societies and HS STUCO, the Warrior Store has become more than just a dream.
The Warrior Store being constructed around February of 2020.
From the designs, to the painting of the gym entrance, and to the selling, the whole process was manufactured and thought-out by students. Now, all profits are directed to supporting NHS and NJHS supported activities, which include the Workers Fund, Estufa Chapina, and Alcance Por Mi Barrio. Not to say that the presence of scholastic merchandise instills a sense of belonging and spirit that helps further ground our community.
