Agricultural Mechanics
The Agricultural Technology and Mechanical Systems, or Agricultural Mechanics, program strives to teach students skills in welding and metal fabrication, plumbing, electrical, basic engine and motor mechanics and some carpentry and cabinetry so they can take those skills and use them to build a career, have knowledge to be self-reliant or use the knowledge and skills in other areas of life.
Animal Science
The Animal Science program of study focuses on the science, research, and business of animals and other living organisms. It teaches students how to apply biology and life science to real-world life processes of animals and wildlife, either in laboratories or in the field, which could include a veterinary office, a farm or ranch, or any outdoor area harboring animal life. Students may also research and analyze the growth and destruction of species and research or diagnose diseases and injuries of animals.
Clyde FFA Chapter
The Clyde FFA Chapter is an intercurricular Career and Technology Student Organization (CTSO) that provides students opportunities in competitive events including speaking, leadership development, career development, project exhibition and livestock shows. The FFA also provides students opportunities to develop their personal skills and strengths and form lifelong connections through events such as FFA banquets, conventions and camps.
