Homework will continue to be set on a Wednesday and will be due in the following Tuesday. Please do not hesitate to contact us if there are any barriers to completing the work at home. We can help by offering support at lunchtimes. Please have a look at the homework grid if you haven't already done so. During the week beginning Monday 6th July, we will begin the children's presentations to the class.
Year 4 children will have their Multiplication Check in week 2. They have all been preparing well, we're very proud of them. Year 3 children are also beginning to practise their multiplication tables daily.
We love to read in Sycamore Class and have been enjoying our set of library books from the visiting mobile library. Please also have a look at home for any school reading books which need to be returned.
PE day is still on a Wednesday. Please can the class be suitably dressed for the range of weather this term often brings. Enrichment afternoon will continue to be on a Friday. Please wear PE kit every Wednesday and Friday. Sports Day is also planned for Wednesday 24th June.

🥛 Please make sure that all children bring a NAMED bottle of water with them every day. If the weather gets really hot again, it is a good idea to bring a sun hat too.
🕰️ A reminder that the school day starts at 8.50 and the children benefit from completing their Early Morning Activity (EMA) every day.
📚 Homework will be set every Wednesday and will need to be returned the following Tuesday. Spelling lists will be available on this website and also in homework books. Children should be completing their weekly target on DoodleMaths. Year 4 pupils should alternate between DoodleMaths and TT Rock Stars to help build their confidence with their times tables ready for the times table check.
🚀 Please make sure you read with your child frequently. Accelerated reader quizzes are completed in school once your child has completed their reading book. Please remind your child to read regularly at home and to bring their book to school every day.
🏃♂️ P.E is on a Wednesday, the children can wear their P.E kits into school on this day as well as on a Friday.
