Homework will continue to be set on a Wednesday and will be due in the following Tuesday. Please do not hesitate to contact us if there are any barriers to completing the work at home. We can help by offering support at lunchtimes. A new homework grid will be set with the presentations happening in the last few weeks of term 6.
All children have a TT Rock Stars login as well as a DoodleMaths login. Please contact us if your child needs a replacement set of details. TT Rockstars is going really well and the Year 4 pupils are well on their way to mastering the times table facts. We ask that every child in the class attempt to get into the green zone on DoodleMaths, this little and often approach has a huge impact on their learning and is evident in lessons.
We love to read in Sycamore Class, please encourage them to read daily at home when possible and ask them about the book they're reading to help engagement and comprehension skills. Our new class book is 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' by Roald Dahl.
PE day is still on a Wednesday. Please can the class be suitably dressed for the range of weather this term often brings. Enrichment afternoon will continue to be on a Friday. Please wear PE kit every Wednesday and Friday.

Children should be completing their weekly target on DoodleMaths. Year 4 pupils should alternate between DoodleMaths and TT Rock Stars to help build their confidence with their times tables ready for the times table check.
🚀 Please make sure you read with your child frequently. Accelerated reader quizzes are completed in school once your child has completed their reading book. Please remind your child to read regularly at home and to bring their book to school every day.
🏃♂️ P.E is on a Wednesday, the children can wear their P.E kits into school on this day as well as on a Friday.
