Talking about awards! This year, we have sent representatives to participate in ACCCIM 2022 STI Competition, a national event based in Kuala Lumpur. Thanks to our representatives' efforts, we ended up taking a Silver medal back home with their project IoT-Draintector
Dashing into the middle of the year, our team of young inventors embarked on a journey to make the world a BETTER place. Hence, outstanding projects were invented to curb and solve GLOBAL problems ranging from unhealthy sitting postures to massive floods. As such, we held the title of overall champion for 5 YEARS in a row as well as other awards: silver medal, several bronze, merit awards etc.
Packed with interesting Tech-related explanations and Hands-on activities, we have initiated our club's exhibition booths along with the arrival of the 105th year anniversary event. Visitors possessed the opportunity to not only learn about electronic components, as well as personally solder PCBs and bring home DIY projects! On top of that, limited edition CEC badges were distributed to visitors as a token of appreciation!!

Why a wild RAFFLESIA here?
Bet you don't know! The Rafflesia is one of the largest and rarest flowers in the world, known for its unique look and strong odor. Native to Southeast Asia, it is critically endangered due to habitat loss and deforestation. Since it relies on specific host plants to survive, it is very vulnerable to environmental changes. The Rafflesia symbolizes the need to protect biodiversity and conserve fragile ecosystems, highlighting the importance of sustainable practices to safeguard nature.
