About Me

Welcome to Alta Sierra Physical Education! My name is Mrs. Tirapelle and I am happy to be on this wonderful junior high ride with you. I have been teaching for 15 years; the first ten were spent in 8th grade science and the last five have been in PE. I also coach girls volleyball, soccer, and softball on the Bruin campus. I truly love what I do!

My husband, Troy, and I have 4 children. Jaxon (13) is a 7th grader here at Alta and he plays water polo, wrestling, and baseball. He has a heart of gold and loves keeping score of just about anything. My older daughter, Austyn (11), is as tough as they get and loves soccer, volleyball, and softball. My younger daughter, Kennedy (8), is our textbook #3 and she tests us daily, but she also keeps us laughing til it hurts. Tanner (7) is the baby and is loved by all who meet him.

I am a 2001 graduate of Santa Teresa High School in San Jose, CA. I moved to Fresno and attended Fresno State and studied Kinesiology- Athletic Training. Upon graduation, I worked as the athletic trainer at Clovis High and that's where I really discovered my passion for teaching. I went back to school and got my Master's and my credential. Again, I truly love what do!
