About Me

Hello!  My name is Ms. Rebecca Tinseth and I am super excited to have your child in my class this year.  This is my 7th year teaching at Alta Sierra and my goal is to provide a safe, structured, caring, and kind classroom environment for your child.  

I graduated from San Diego State University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance.  I completed my Teaching Credential at Fresno State University in May 2020 and my Master's in Special Education in May 2021. 

I have two children, Andrew, 20, and Alyson, 18.  Andrew is starting his Junior year at Fresno State and Alyson is starting her Freshman year at Arizona State University. As a family, we like to spend time at the beach and also in the mountains.  Camping is one of our favorite things to do.  I also enjoy mountain biking, dancing, gardening, exercising, being silly, and spending time with my friends and family.  

I am committed to continually learning and growing with your children, to help them become successful not only in the classroom but also as members of the greater community.
