About Me 

                    My name is Rowen Shaterian and I have the privilege of being an 8th grade U.S. history teacher at Clark Intermediate. I have been a part of the Clark community for the past 17 years as a coach of both water polo and swimming. This will be my 10th year as a classroom teacher. I am still coaching and am currently the 7th grade water polo and swim coach here at Clark. I am a graduate of Fresno Pacific University where I received my bachelors in Kinesiology and my multiple subject credential. I also completed my master degree at University California State, Fresno in Educational Administration and Leadership. During my time at Fresno Pacific I was a member of the swim and water polo teams.  I am married to my beautiful wife Haylie and we are the proud parents of of Brady (5.5), Aaron (3.5 years), Dennis (2 year) and Ruby (dog). In my free time I enjoy golfing, camping, working out, binge watching reality television, and spending time with my family. I am a big fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies, music, and Star Wars. I welcome you to A-5 where I know and expect that we will work hard and have fun as we expand our knowledge together.
