I am Teacher Tammy and I am the Purple Room teacher. I have worked for CUSD for the last 25 years. I have taught at Kastner Intermediate 7th grade academic block, 4th grade at Nelson Elementary, State Preschool at Jefferson Elementary, PALS at Century Elementary in the Autism program and finally at Jefferson in the SDC inclusion Preschool. I have a heart for Special Education and love being apart of the Inclusion Team. I am a mom of 4, two boys and twin girls. My babies just turned 20 this year and I am a year away from being an empty nester. I am looking forward to a wonderful year. I also teach two classes at Fresno Pacific University, go Sunbirds.

My name is Coltin and I am an aide in Teacher Tammy's classroom. This will be my 4th year working in the Purple Room and I am looking forward to many more years of learning from the children as well as my colleagues. I am currently enrolled in the Special Education Credential program at Fresno Pacific University. One day I hope to become a head teacher of a special education preschool program. It is great to have great teachers around me like Teacher Heather, Teacher Tammy, and Teacher Christina that I can mold my future teaching style from. Also working with well-experienced and knowledgeable aides has helped me out tremendously. Can’t wait to see the wonderful things your kiddos will do this year! Have a great year!

Hello! I am Teacher Yudi. I have been working with Jefferson's SDC inclusion preschool program for 5 years. I have always had a heart of special education and love watching kids learn and grow. On my off time I love spending time with my family as I am a mom of 4, two boys and two girls. I look forward to having a wonderful year with all of you on the blue jay campus!

Hello! I am Teacher Aira one of the aides in Purple Room:) I have worked for CUSD since 2017. I started teaming up with the purple room crew as a substitute then became apart of our wonderful team at Jefferson’s SDC inclusion preschool. I have always loved teaching and am currently pursuing becoming a special education teacher. I graduated from Buchanan High School then from Fresno State, I have my bachelors degree in Communications Disorders and Deaf Studies. I am knowledgeable in communicative American Sign Language (ASL) and have a love for communication in all types of modes. At the moment I am working on my masters at Fresno State in the Early Childhood Education (ECE) program. I am excited about this school year and look forward to our educational journey together! Go Blue Jays :):)
