About Me

Hi, my name is Ms. Saunders and I am an "original Bronco." I was born and raised in Clovis and I attended Copper Hills Elementary, Alta Sierra, and finally Granite Ridge and Clovis North when the school opened its doors in 2007. This makes me an "original Bronco" and the first Clovis North graduate to become a teacher at Clovis North.  I come from a family of teachers and I knew growing up that I would be a teacher one day. My mom is a teacher at Copper Hills Elementary and my sister is a teacher at Buchanan High School.

I was always very involved as a student at Clovis North. I competed on the Varsity swim team, played the cello in the Advanced Orchestra,  was a leadership student, took a plethora of A.P. courses, was a member of National Honor Society and California Scholarship Federation, and graduated in the top 20 of my class. I was proud to be a Bronco as a student and now I am honored to be a Bronco as an educator. After graduating from Clovis North I attended Fresno State where I received my degree and competed on their NCAA Division I Equestrian Team.

I own two horses, Bella Noche and Penny Lane, who I compete with on a regular basis. I compete in dressage at the local, state, and national level. My dream is to compete in the Olympics! My other hobbies include: hiking with my dog Jessie, traveling, and cooking! I love the outdoors and I am a lover of all animals!
