Mr. Prandini's Academic Block

About Me

Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year!

I was born and raised in Clovis and attended Mickey Cox Elementary, Clark Intermediate, and Clovis High School. I graduated from CHS in 2007 and then attended UCLA until 2011. After graduating college I moved to New York City and spent five years teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th grade in Brooklyn and the Bronx. Then in the summer of 2016 I moved back to Clovis and started working at Clark. This is my third year at Clark and 8th year in education. This is my first year teaching Academic Block and I couldn't be more excited.

Three quotes that inspire and inform my teaching style are below.

"The mark of an educated mind is the ability to entertain a thought without believing it." - Aristotle

"I cannot teach anyone anything. I can only make them think." - Socrates

"It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge." - Albert Einstein

In both English and History my goal is to inspire kids to be curious, think independently, understand other points of view, and express themselves well.
