The choral arts provide students with an opportunity to build confidence in performing in public, and an appreciation of the arts. Every school in Clovis Unified has formal choral and instrumental music offered to students in grades 5th - 6th.  Multiple times during the year, our students perform in choral festivals representing our school.

REHEARSAL SCHEDULE

Students are assigned a part by grade level and will only miss two 45 minute sessions of academic time each week.

• Monday:  6th grade 1:05pm -1:50pm, 5th grade 1:50pm - 2:35pm

• Thursdays:  6th grade 8:15am - 9:00am ,5th grade 9:00am - 9:45am

UNIFORM INFORMATION

The Concert Choir uniform consists of:

• Black pants, black flat shoes (any dress shoes, must have a back and less than a 1½ inch heel)

• Hair pulled back away from face in ponytail 

• Pinedale Music Polo (school provides) 

COMMUNICATION

Email is the best method of communication since I teach at multiple sites. Notes do go home in addition to emails about upcoming events.
