California Mission Reports

In fourth grade, your student will be creating a California Mission report.  Below are a number of resources to help your student complete this at home as well as at school.  I have included a page with website resources, a copy of a report template that will help with information organization, and a sample of a finished mission report (this is a sample and not to be copied).  

Although there will be some time in class for this project, please encourage your student to work on this at home, or go to the local library if computer access is unavailable.  This report will be worth 50 points, plus there are opportunities for extra credit.  

The California Missions played a tremendous role in the formation of California, and I am excited to be sharing their rich history with your child!
