About Me

Hi there! I’m Mrs. Rose, and I’m so excited to kick off my 15th year of teaching at Alta Sierra!

Outside the classroom, life keeps me busy and happy. I’ve been married for 31 years, raised two awesome grown-up sons, and spend my downtime with my two small (and very spoiled) dogs.

If you ask anyone who knows me, they'll tell you I'm always ready with a kind word, a love for organizing just about anything, and a classroom where everyone feels welcome. I genuinely enjoy bringing a little extra order to the chaos. Outside the classroom, you'll usually find me with a latte in hand (hot or iced—I don't discriminate!), listening to Taylor Swift, dreaming about my next nap because, honestly, naps are completely underrated. If you hear a Taylor song playing quietly while you're working, just know it's all part of the classroom vibe!

In our classroom, respect and inclusion aren’t just rules—they're part of who we are. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported as you grow—not just in math, but as a person.

Let's make this year one to remember. We're going to work hard, laugh often, and support each other every step of the way. I can't wait to get started!
