Hello Choir Students and Parents,

Welcome to Mrs. Alvidrez Choir Page! I really miss getting to see all of my amazing choir students from Oraze, Fancher Creek and Boris. Over the next couple of weeks I will have lots of fun music, worksheets and videos on here for you to work on. Just click the Home button in the top right hand corner and find your school in the menu. Please continue to check back in as more items will be added to the site! Choir Assignments

Over the next couple of weeks have some fun exploring the two slides I have created for my virtual classroom! Click on the posters on the walls to open vocal warm ups and songs. Also, check out the music on the music stand! Then click to the next slide to listen to some books about music. Listen and watch the videos along with your younger siblings! And keep checking back as I will be adding more!

Romantic and 20th Century Music

Please read the PDF articles of Romantic and 20th Century Music and fill out the two Google forms below. Please remember to click submit on the bottom of the form when you are done so that I receive it. Every answer is required so be sure to answer every question.

We are going to have some Star Wars music fun this week since last Monday was Star Wars Day.

1. Click on the link below which will take you to my virtual classroom. Click the present button in the top right of the screen.

2. Click on the Star Wars Comic Book in the bookcase.

3. If you have access to a printer, please print out the PDF and if you do not use a blank piece of paper to write out the information.

4. Then go back to my virtual classroom and find the Darth Vader action figure in the chair.

5. Click on the Darth Vader and he will open a google slide show. Click through the slides and follow all of the directions.

6. At the end of the slide show invite your younger siblings to draw along with the music too.

7. When you are finished please send me a screenshot of the matching page and you are welcome to share your drawing with me too! :-)

Classical Music Assignment

Here is the fillable PDF for the Classical Music assignment.

1. Click on the attachment of the assignment.

2. Find the button at the top that says "Open with" and click on it.

3. Click on the option that says "DocHub- PDF Sign and Edit". It will open up in a new format that will allow you to fill in the answers.

4. Please make sure you save it and then either turn it in here on Google classroom or email it to me.

Here is the Middle Ages assignment. Please print out the worksheet, read and answer the questions. Then scan or take a photo of your work and email it to me.

A beautiful example by Hildegard von Bingen called "O tu illustrata". Play close attention to one of the singers who is blind and using her fingers to read the music in braille.

Renaissance Homework Assignment- Due Friday, April 24th- Please print out the packet. Read the information about music in the Renaissance and then answer the questions. Then work on the Music Theory pages. Scan or take a picture of your work and email it to me.
