Our 2nd grade kids have been learning about animals. Have your child pick an animal, download a picture and identify 6 different parts of their animal. These can be really fun and unique. Don't know how to do it on Google Docs? Have your kids draw it on paper!! Send us a picture of their drawings on Maple Creek Facebook Page!

As we know Technology World is growing. My Goal as their Technology teacher is to get your child comfortable and ready for their State testing that starts in 3rd Grade. Once a month we will be doing a lesson in Read Works. Together we will read a short story and then the kids will answer multiple choice questions. It is such a great way to help them navigate their way around the computer! Ask you child about it.
