About Me

Hello! My name is Cynthia Delgado and I'm your child's 6th Grade Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. 6th Grade is an important year in transitioning to middle school. My goal is to support and encourage your child to achieve the best of their abilities and ensure they're prepared for the rigor of middle school. We will continue to foster a positive mindset, work hard, and have a fun, successful year. 

I was born and raised in Fresno, CA. I graduated from Fresno State with a BS in Criminology (Victimology) and received my MA in Educational Leadership. This will be my 19th year teaching and I have only taught 6th grade, so I am well-versed in the standards and expectations. I have been incredibly lucky to work with this age group for so long. I am married to my caring husband and we have three handsome boys: Cameron (22), Nickolas (16), and Zachary (6). My family and I enjoy spending at Disneyland, any beach we can find, and hiking the local trails. 

This will by my seventh year at Copper Hills and I look forward to building up our  Miner Community and continuing strong relationships, while cultivating a positive academic experience for your child. I look forward to getting to know you and your kiddos this year!
