About Me

My name is Silvia Ramirez. This is my 31st year teaching.  I've taught Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd grade, and 5th, 7th & 8th grade summer school! I love children and the opportunity to inspire them to be the best they can be in mind, body, and spirit. I believe that "It takes a village to raise a child". Parents, if you have time to volunteer in the classroom, come join my village!

Family is what I love most in the world. I have three daughters, three granddaughters and my first grandson on the way (expected in late January or early February)!  I love spending quality time with everyone in my family.

I am a happy, hardworking, positive, and caring person. I enjoy reading, traveling, dancing, meeting new people, learning about different cultures, and trying new foods. 

My favorite hobby is traveling. This summer I visited Hawaii, went on a cruise with my sister, and had several trips along the coast.
