Here’s a look at what’s happening in Room 10 this week!

📊 Math

• 📏 We started Lesson 22 today. Lesson 22 continues our work on measurement, introducing yards and how different units compare.

• 📐 Students have been using rulers daily and measuring various objects.

• 🤖 We are also wrapping up our measurement robot projects.

• 💻 Students need to pass 2 iReady math lessons this week.

📝 Spelling (Unit 8 Week 2)

• Focus: Words that end in -er and -or.

• 🗓️ Spelling Test – Friday

✍️ Writing & ELA

• 📝 Continuing our Narrative Writing Performance Task about kindness.

• 📖 We will also review ABC order and homophones during our daily warm-up.

• We did not take our Unit 7 Week 2 reading test on Friday due to time constraints.

• 📝 The final Unit 7 reading test will be on Wednesday, March 18.

• 📘 We are wrapping up Unit 7: “Investigating the Past.”

• 💻 Students must pass 2 iReady reading lessons this week.

🌟 Positivity Project – Other People Mindset (OPM): Appreciating the Good in Others

• 💬 We will discuss how to notice and appreciate positive qualities in others.

• 🤝 Students will talk about how recognizing others’ strengths helps build a positive classroom community.

• 🗳️ Students will vote for a classmate who demonstrates this character strength.
