Computer Science Experience
My love for programming and computer science started when I was young. I took programming courses in Basic, Pascal, and Fortran all through High School. I then worked for two years as a programmer for the City of Fresno Water Division designing programs for the water hydrant billing and chlorine tracking systems. Although my life path took me more toward science in teaching I have never shied away from adding some of my programming experience into my classroom and into Science Olympiad which has widely expanded on that front. I now have a CTE credential in the System and Software Design pathway focus.
I have been in teaching for 21 years now and I have had an amazing career that has taught me so much about students, administration and teams. My passion for teaching has never wavered and my love of computer science has been reignited. I hope to prove this to every student that enters my classroom. With any luck, I will be a Bronco until I retire.
