Hello and welcome! My name is Russell Havens, and I am excited to be in my 3rd year at Buchanan High School and entering my 12th year in Special Education.

My journey in education began at Alta Sierra as an Instructional Assistant in an Extensive Needs classroom. Inspired by that experience, I attended Fresno Pacific University to earn my Moderate/Severe Teaching Credential. While leading an intervention program for students with emotional disturbance for seven years, I earned my Master’s in Special Education and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This is my fifth year teaching in the Autism program, and I am looking forward to another fantastic school year supporting our students, families, and community!
