Congratulations, Seniors!

I am truly looking forward to sharing your final year of high school with you in AP Literature. This course will challenge you to think more deeply, read more carefully, write more thoughtfully, and discover how literature connects us to the world and to one another.

While there is no required summer assignment, I strongly encourage you to read a book… or two over the summer. Keep your mind active, your curiosity growing, and your thoughts processing so you begin the year ready to think, discuss, and engage at a high level.

Our first novel will be Educated by Tara Westover. The library has several copies available, but if you would like to purchase your own copy, you may want to have it ready before school begins.

Most importantly, enjoy your summer. Spend time with the people you love, make memories, rest, laugh, and appreciate this exciting season of life before your senior year begins.
