New Student Registration:

New student ONLINE pre-registration for the 2025-2026 school year begins February 26, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.  Don't delay in getting your child registered.  In order to register your child for Kindergarten or Transitional Kindergarten for the 2025-2026 school year, they must meet the age requirements:

           ~Kindergarten students must turn 5 years old on/before September 1, 2025

​           ~Transitional Kindergarten students must turn 4 on/before September 1, 2025

Please visit the CUSD registration website for full registration information and to access the online registration process.  Once you complete the online registration process, you will need to contact your school of residence to make an office appointment to turn in documentation (birth record; parent/guardian I.D.s; proof of residency; shot records; etc.).  If you need further information, you can contact the Jefferson Elementary office at (559) 327-7000.   Your registration is not completed until you submit both the online application as well as meet with our Registrar in person to submit documentation.  

Student Transfer Information:

If you live in within Clovis Unified School District's boundaries and are not within the Jefferson attendance boundary but would like your child to attend Jefferson, you will need to request an Intradistrict Transfer.  If you live outside of the CUSD attendance area, you will need to request an Interdistrict Transfer to Jefferson.  Questions regarding school transfers should be directed to the Student Services and School Attendance office at (559) 327-9200 or by visiting the transfers section of their website HERE.  Transfer request application forms can be downloaded from their website as well.
