Our biggest fundraiser of the year is coming and there are many ways you can get involved! Donate to our silent auction, donate sweet treats to our cake walk, volunteer your time the day of the carnival, or simply attend with your family and take advantage of the fun!

Garfield Elementary PTC Board Nominations for 2026–2027
The Garfield Elementary School Parent Teacher Club is now accepting applications for all open PTC Board positions for the 2026–2027 school year (a one‑year term). Many of our current board members are moving on to Alta Sierra, so this is an important moment to welcome new leaders and keep our strong tradition of family involvement thriving. All positions are open this year. We invite you to nominate yourself or another dedicated individual by completing the nomination form no later than April 30th. Nominees do not need to be current PTC members, but membership will be required if elected.

- Monthly Meetings: Attend and participate in mandatory PTC meetings, typically held at 4:45 PM on the second Tuesday of each month.
- Support School Events: Assist with and attend PTC fundraisers and activities throughout the year—especially our biggest event, the Garfield Carnival, along with smaller fundraisers and volunteer opportunities.

It truly takes a village to make our school year successful and FUN for our students. We could not do it without the support of our community. We have multiple ways in which to be involved. Be a lead room parent, a classroom volunteer, sling snacks in the snack shack during recess or during sports events. Do you have great ideas? Come to our meetings and share them! With so many opportunities to get involved, we are confident there is a way for you to make a difference for your student and our community.
