About Me

My name is Scott Franz and this is my 23rd year of teaching. I grew up in Clovis and attended Jefferson Elementary and then went to Clark intermediate afterward. I attended and graduated from Clovis High and then went to College of the Redwoods which is a small school in Eureka, California. I transferred back to Fresno State where I received a BA in liberal studies and a Masters in Multicultural Education.

I started teaching at Monroe Elementary School, a small school near Caruthers and I taught 6th grade. I had an opportunity to teach science at Orange Cove High School which had just opened and I taught all grade levels. I decided to come back and teach at Clark Intermediate and am very happy here.

My beautiful wife Danette and I have 3 children, my daughter Chloe who has just graduated from Fresno State, Katelyn who attends Reedley JC and Marcus who is a junior at Clovis High School. In my free time, I enjoy fishing, hiking, and spending time outdoors with my family.
