DRAMA CLASSES

Advanced Drama

This is an Advanced performance course to Theatre for 8th grade.

Advanced Drama students will rehearse and perform two class plays.

Students will perform for Elementary students on an Elementary Drama

Show Tour. Students will practice Advanced techniques in pantomime, improvisation, Scene work, skits, and performance skills. Application and beginning/Intermediate Drama or school Musical prerequisite required.

Intermediate Drama

This is an Intermediate full year course to Theatre for 7th and 8th grade.

Students will learn Intermediate Theatre concepts and stage terms. Students will practice pantomime, improvisation, scene work, skits, and

performance techniques to help them

become more comfortable in front of an audience and on stage. Students will rehearse and perform a class play.

Application required.

Beginning Drama

This is a semester introductory course to Theater. Students will learn basic theater concepts and stage terms as well as be introduced to pantomime, improvisation, puppetry, and performance techniques through interactive games and lessons. Students will become more comfortable speaking in front of people which will prepare them for academic presentations. Application Required.
