Dear Clark Students and Parents,
I am delighted to welcome you to Clark Intermediate School. My name is Tamara Chambless, and I will be your child's teacher in room C-2. As we embark on this new school year, I am committed to providing a supportive and enriching learning environment for your child. Together, we will make 7th grade a memorable and successful experience.
With 25 years of teaching experience at Clark, I have had the privilege of teaching a wide range of subjects. I have worked as an RSP teacher and collaborated with the 7th and 8th-grade Academic Block (AB) Departments. Additionally, I have taught 8th-grade Academic Block and currently teach 7th-grade Honors English and AVID Electives 7 and 8. I am passionate about incorporating technology into our curriculum and witnessing students' excitement as they master new skills. Education is a team effort, and I value the partnership between teachers and parents. Your support is crucial in creating a positive and rewarding 7th-grade experience.
I am a Fresno native and attended Washington Union High School and Fresno State. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Communicative Sciences and Disorders, a Special Education Teaching Credential, and a Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential. Furthermore, I have completed a Master's Degree in Special Education.
Outside of the classroom, I am a proud parent to two children. Our son, Luke, is in sixth grade, and our daughter, Olivia, is in fourth grade. Parenthood has been an incredible journey, as we get to see the world through our children's eyes. As a family, we enjoy traveling, spending time with friends, and playing in our backyard. Personally, I find solace in reading, whether it be for my own enjoyment or sharing literature with my children.
