My name is Lisa Brown and I teach 8th Grade Academic Block at Clark Intermediate. This will be my 21st year in education and I have previously taught 1st, 5th, and 6th grades at Jefferson Elementary in the Clovis High Area; as well as 7th and 8th grade here at Clark.

I am blessed to be the mother of two wonderful men.  My older son, Jackson (34), is a 6th Grade teacher and coach at Weldon Elementary.  Go Warriors!  He is married to my beautiful daughter-in-love, Kassie (a Registered Dietician for Fresno County), and they are the proud parents of my 2 precious grandchildren...Mia Jade and Jackson Judah. My younger son, Dylan (31), who is the BEST Uncle, works at Clovis Community Day School (CCDS) and he serves in the evenings at FIVE Restaurant in Fresno.  They are all amazing and they make me proud every day!

I grew up in the Fresno area and attended Fresno State where I completed my bachelor's degree in Child Development.  I got my Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential at Fresno Pacific and then completed my Master's Degree in Educational Administration back at Fresno State.  In my free time, I LOVE to read. In fact, I try to promote reading to my students in hopes of making them life long readers. I also enjoy traveling and spending time with my family and friends.

I believe education is very important and requires a team effort. I will have a great year with my classes and would greatly appreciate family/parent support in making this 8th grade year the BEST experience for our students.

Clark REALLY IS the best junior high in Clovis!  I love my job and I WILL love your kids!
