Dear Clark Students and Families,
My name is Jason Anderson and I teach 8th grade Science at Clark Intermediate. I have been teaching science at Clark for 16 years. I started my teaching career in my hometown of Columbia Falls Montana where I student taught in the same middle school my father taught at for 35 years. From Montana I was hired to teach 7th grade science in Stockton California at Sierra Middle School in the Lincoln Unified School District. I taught there for 4 years and was also the freshman boys basketball coach at Lincoln High School. I moved to Clovis when I proposed to my wife Jodi Anderson who is a 6th grade teacher at Sierra Vista Elementary. We are blessed to have 2 sons McKay and Markus.
I also coach football and track at Clark. Coaching athletics is a passion for me and I believe it has made me a better teacher. My greatest joy is seeing young men and women at Clark work hard and overcome obstacles to become successful and accomplish more than they thought was possible. The look of pure joy and pride on a student or players face when they succeed is why I do what I do.
