Students and Parents,

Welcome! I am so excited to work with all of you as we embark on what will sure to be an amazing school year! While we begin the year with remote learning, my goal remains to help and facilitate my students in creating positive and productive experiences as well as building meaningful relationships and cultivating a positive academic experience. As your child’s teacher I will act as a guide, mentor, and coach through their online course of study with Edgenuity. I will be available each school day to help guide each student through their course of study and ensure students master the material through ongoing assessments. Setting a daily schedule, logging in to the online system and working on assigned courses needs to be a part of a student's learning habit. Keeping pace with established target dates will help guide students to maintain coursework completion. Researching the course content, reviewing work to submit, and getting help when needed are keys to effective learning in an online, independent study setting. I will hold regular meetings with each student, which foster collaboration and allow students face to face access through zoom.
